Our Services
Training Delivery And Facilitation
Future Learning has delivered customized training programs in both English and French and facilitated community consultations, focus groups and planning sessions for many clients. Most recently, Future Learning completed a total retraining of over 3,500 national Veterans Affairs Canada staff, as they focused on the implementation of the New Veterans Charter. The project included the design and development of learning programs in both English and French for six (6) courses, the development of three (3) train-the-trainer programs, and the face-to-face delivery of the training to all department staff across Canada.
Earlier in 2006, Future Learning managed and facilitated 15 public consultations with residents of Western Prince County, Prince Edward Island, to discuss the highly divisive issue of amalgamating the health services of three existing hospitals to one centrally-located hospital. The consultations involved health care professionals, provincial and municipal politicians, and the general public under the constant scrutiny of media. The Future Learning team used its concentrated expertise to facilitate and co-ordinate the consultations in a manner fair to all parties, allowing a meaningful consultation process.
Our team has also facilitated in-person focus group and telephone consultations with project personnel and project stakeholders with the University of Prince Edward Island, the Nova Scotia Department of Health, Dalhousie University, and others.
